Many patients have questions regarding the symptoms and side effects they may experience following surgery, particularly what is "normal" and what is not. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact our office.

After Care For
Laser Procedures
You may experience some side effects after laser surgery, but they are usually temporary. You may have:

Watery Eyes
-
Red Eyes
-
Dilated Pupils
-
Mild Headache
-
Double Vision
-
Blurry Vision
-
Glare
Sunglasses or dark eye shields should be worn while your pupils are dilated.

After Care For
Intravitreal Injections
You may experience some side effects after an eye injection, but they are usually temporary. You may have:

Watery Eyes
-
Red Eyes
-
Dilated Pupils
-
Mild Headache
-
Double Vision
-
Blurry Vision
-
Glare
Do not get your eyes wet for 24 hours.
Use antibiotic eye drops four times daily for five days following the injection, unless otherwise specified or prescribed.
Sunglasses or dark eye shields should be worn while your pupils are dilated.
Notify the office immediately if you experience sudden pain or vision loss.
